About our Client
Our client, a boutique firm providing tax and accounting services, is looking for a JR Staff Accountant to join their high-performing team on a permanent basis. The Staff Accountant will support month-end activities like account reconciliations and journal entries as well as assist with personal tax preparation and corporate tax. This client offers a great collaborative work environment

About our Client
Our client, a boutique firm providing tax and accounting services, is looking for a JR Staff Accountant to join their high-performing team on a permanent basis. The Staff Accountant will support month-end activities like account reconciliations and journal entries as well as assist with personal tax preparation and corporate tax. Responsibilities
- Personal Tax Preparation
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Assist with month-end and close year-end processes
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Bookkeeping
- T4 and T5 preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Personal Tax Preparation
- Experience with Caseware
- 1-2 year of experience in an accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Detail-oriented and ability to work independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and accounting software
