Non-Urgent Transportation Worker Job at The Ottawa Hospital
Position Information
Temporary position until approximately November 30, 2025.
Rotation/Shifts
Days, 8 hours shifts (7:30-15:30, 09:30-17:30)

Basic Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent (i.e. G.E.D. test);

Emergency First Aid, CPR - Heart Saver or BCLS, Automated External Defibrillator (AED);

6 months of experience interacting with patients;

Ability to use handheld devices;

Computer literacy (Ex: EPIC, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills, keyboarding skills, data entry skills, computer software applications);

Patient handling equipment, lifts, stretcher;

Driver license - Class G or equivalent with a clean driving history;

Motor vehicle operations;
-
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;

Excellent communication and customer service skills required;

Positive attitude and compassion to help others;

Comfortable driving on highways;
-
Eligible to work in Canada.
