We are currently looking for a People and Culture Administrator to join our team. The People and Culture Administrator position provides Human Resources and Payroll support, and is a great start to your professional career!

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Provide day to day professional and confidential HR and Payroll support
  • Assist the People and Culture team with reports, projects and initiatives as directed
  • Assist new hire setups in the payroll system
  • Ensure the processing of employee terminations and employee status changes are accurate and timely
  • Issue record of employment (ROE) in a timely manner
  • Assist in source deduction remittances and reconciliations after each pay period is processed
  • Preparation of job descriptions, job postings, and recruitment etc.
  • Recruitment: reviewing candidates, conducting phone interviews, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, and preparing offer and confirmation letters
  • Prepare onboarding for new hires and rehires and collect and file important documents into employee files
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefit programs
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee time
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain and ensure pay and personnel records are accurate and up-to-date audit trail for compliance
  • Assist the communications team with corporate events and initiatives
  • Perform other duties as required

Required Experience

  • Experience in an office environment is considered an asset
  • Education in Payroll/Human Resources or Business-related diploma or degree is considered an asset
