Fresh in your Fridge is a nutrition and cooking service based out of Vancouver BC. We have a team of qualified chefs and nutritionists who work with clients in a personalized setting, out of our newly constructed commercial kitchen in Strathcona.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Working with clients on a weekly basis to prepare and cook their personalized recipe plan
- Up-keeping client communication and feedback
- Preparing recipe plans and meals that are suited to client’s individual needs and preferences
- Cooking using holistic principles and techniques
- Completing clients weekly services in a safe, organized and professional manner
- Sticking to budget and individualized guidelines for each client
WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION
- Professional culinary arts diploma OR Nutrition background with professional cooking experience
- 2+ years of experience in food production, and menu planning
- Interest in nutrition, natural cooking, healthcare and wellness
- Food safe certificate (to be completed by start date)
- Experience with specific dietary needs (EX. vegan/plant based, gluten free, FODMAPs, keto, allergy friendly) and know how to cook and create menus with restrictions
AVAILABILITY REQUIRED
- Looking for part-time (Sunday-Tues) to grow to full-time by the summer (Sunday-Thursday)
NICE TO HAVE
- A car
- Diploma in Holistic Nutrition (IHN, CSNN or other accredited program that includes culinary training)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
