Summary:

Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, Welder is responsible for fitting, assembling and welding parts of a structural nature in accordance with blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions to produce agricultural equipment.

Responsibilities:

· Operation of required measuring instruments – tape measures, micrometer and weld fillet gage

· Welds components in flat positions

· Complete welds as per company drawings, standards and procedures

· Recording of process sheets and daily work tickets (interval and first off checks)

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

· Perform all other work activities as assigned and required

Education and Knowledge Required:

· Minimum high school diploma or recognized equivalent education is preferred

· Related trade certificate from a recognized post-secondary institute is beneficial

· Combinations of education and experience will be considered

Experience and Technical Skills Required:

· 0-2 years of Experience

· Mechanical aptitude required

Shift Details:

4-Day week - Mon-Thu - 4:00PM - 2:30AM

The successful applicant must have a superior work ethic, excellent time management skills and a positive attitude. The work environment will include; working alone or as part of a team and following safe work practices.
