REPAIR SHOP TECHNICIAN

Reports to: Rental Shop/Snow School Manager

The Repair Shop Tech is responsible for repairing and maintaining the rental equipment inventory, waxing and tuning gear dropped off by guests, setting up rental gear for guests and assisting the

Rental Shop cashier. They will also be expected to shovel snow as a part of morning duties and help Ski Patrol with sweep at the end of the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure equipment is kept in peak condition
  • Ensure daily task lists are completed
  • Take in returns during the afternoon
  • Stay up-to-date on events at the hill to provide guests information
  • Assist ski patrol as needed with daily sweeps
  • Keep the repair shop clean
  • Assisting in the rental shop by ensuring proper boot fitting, accurate ski/board selection, binding adjustments.
  • Instructing guests in the correct use of rental equipment
  • Notifies Rental Shop Supervisor if equipment is requiring repair or replacement

Qualifications:

  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Mature, energetic, dependable
  • Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate (or better) level

Education and Experience, Certificates and Licenses

  • Education: High school diploma
  • Experience as a Ski and Snowboard technician required
