Shop Labourer Job at Blanchett Neon Limited
Blanchett Neon is currently seeking a Shop Labourer to join our industry-leading team of professionals in Edmonton, AB.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the shop.
- Assist in moving signage products as required.
- Prepping signage displays for paint, including masking
- Assisting professional trades as required.
- Promote image and safety awareness; follow policies and procedures on quality, health, safety, and environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience working as a shop laborer, minor autobody work/repair and/or painting is required.
- Past experience working in a COR Status Safety environment is an asset.
- Power tools experience.
- Ability to safely work with a respirator for extended periods of time.
- Capable of working independently, as well as in a team environment. Adept to efficiently and effectively working unsupervised.
- Ability to review and interpret work orders and shop drawings.
- Capable of working in a physically demanding multi-tasking work environment. This position may require some overtime, as well as a flexible work schedule.
- Adaptable and able to prioritize responsibilities.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail, be extremely organized.
- Must have a valid drivers license ( No GDL)
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
- $ 20 – 30 / hr starting wage (based on experience)
