Join a great Electronics Manufacturing Service’s (EMS) company in a new state of the art purpose-built facility at Glenlyon Business Park in Burnaby. Dorigo is focused on offering quality and achieving positive changes in everything we do for our customers. We are a manufacturer of technology products, from surface mount to full box build, for innovative design and manufacturing companies in North America.
Our team is growing and we are looking to hire SMT Machine Operator to join our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the SMT Supervisor, the successful candidate will play a key role in helping to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform SMT operations from simple to difficult on printed circuit board.- Operate Panasonic pick-and-place equipment.
- Setup and operate EKRA and Panasonic Solder Paste Printers.
- Operate BTU Reflow Oven.
- Operate Aqueous PCB Washer Machine.
- Perform SMT setup and cleanup.
- Perform routine maintenance on the surface mount equipment.
- Coordinate work schedules within the SMT Line.
- Communicate with process engineers to resolve SMT assembly issues.
- Communicate with SMT supervisor to resolve any machine issues.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
- Perform other duties as required.
Job Skills:
Two years experience with surface mount machines.- Good computer literacy and the equivalent of a high school diploma.
- Strong Printed Circuit Board assembly skills (SMT and PTH).
- Ability to read and comprehend assembly documentation and drawings.
- Knowledge of color codes, electronic component identification and IPC-A-610-G is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of PanaPro and DGS software is an asset, as is experience operating the Panasonic pick-and-place machine.
- Excellent attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new methods and procedures, and to proactively participate in the decision-making process.
- Ability to work well and accept personal accountability within a team environment.
