Job summary

Are you a cannabis enthusiast with an energetic spirit? Are you looking to work with a fun group of people? If so, we would love to meet you! We’re looking for an ambitious and hard-working professional to join our Cultivation team in the role of Team Member, Processing!


As a Team Member, Processing, you will….

  • Responsible for Harvesting, drying and trimming of Cannabis plants
  • Assisting in set up operation and cleaning of production equipment
  • Ensuring that Cannabis meets desired quality prior to packaging
  • Ensure proper sanitation of production equipment and tools
  • Ensure proper sanitation of workspaces
  • Follow defined Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Quality control and good documentation practices
  • Understand and follow all SOPs
  • Where trained, performing verification of process and documentation may be required.
  • Maintain steady and effective communication with Assistants, Coordinators and Supervisor
  • Be a steward of Aurora’s Values in Play, and an ambassador for our company, product and clients
  • Work towards meeting department goals around efficiencies, yields and cost.
  • Conducting general facility care
  • Must adhere to Aurora's SOPs and comply with Health Canada’s Cannabis Act. In addition, must adhere to ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environment Management System) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series).
  • Other duties as required

  • Previous experience working with Cannabis plants preferred
  • Legally permitted to work in Canada

  • Functional English (verbal and written)
  • Recognize unsafe conditions and practices and make corrections to prevent injuries and product loss

  • Physical effort is required, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and after hours as required.
  • Work may require standing, sitting, walking and using ladders
  • Repetitive use of hands, wrists and forearms
  • PPE includes but is not limited to jumpsuits, labcoats, safety glasses/goggles, faceshield & respirator mask
  • Manual dexterity required
  • This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not likely suitable for an employee that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, as a result of cannabis/plant material exposure.
