WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Business Analyst (Web/Ecommerce) is responsible for organizing and coordinating new web development projects such as WordPress, Shopify, Ecommerce websites, and Web Applications. The ideal candidate will work in partnership with business leaders to identify and implement solutions to meet the needs of a growing portfolio of businesses within Outgive. This role is responsible for the analysis of solution requirements, communication of these requirements to the development team, investigation of issues, and the facilitation of testing and ensuring the quality of technical changes. This will lead to a Team Leader/Manager role as the team grows.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Document business requirements in the form of user stories and traceability matrices that meet project and company standards using techniques such as interviews, workshops, document analysis, business need statements, surveys, use cases, business scenarios, wireframes and task and workflow analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project team to effectively compile and document these needs to systems design and development.
  • Research, review, and analyze existing requirements gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
  • Act as a technical speaker with the business and project teams.
  • Support Product Managers, Project Managers, and technical teams to resolve issues.
  • Prepare and submit team reports to upper management.
  • Create UAT test cases, organize and facilitate UAT testing, track test results.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 2 to 5 years of related IT and analytical experience applied to Web Development.
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce and phases of web development lifecycle.
  • Understanding of systems integration/interfacing principles/content management systems.
  • Experience with application performance monitoring tools.
  • Excellent experience with Jira.
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Zendesk, Dynatrace, Tealium.
  • Ability to quickly learn about new software applications.
  • Experience in working within dynamic, fast paced environments.
WORK HOURS: Monday to Friday 9AM - 5PM EST, 40 hours a week.
