McCrea's Welding Ltd.

McCrea's Welding is a custom metal fabrication and repair shop located in Campbell River. We pride ourselves in outstanding customer service and the wide variety of services that we offer to our customers. McCrea's Welding caters to all industries from mining to fish farms and everything in between. Our fleet of mobile welding trucks is a key asset to our company and is a huge part of our day to day operation. We offer full mobile welding service and in shop fabrication.

We are hiring multiple positions.

We're looking for a TIG hand aluminum welder that has experience in fabrication. A candidate with experience in CNC press brake, CNC plasma cutting and other metal working equipment such as iron workers and hydraulic shears would be an asset. TIG welding skills needed.

Second position must have some experience in running a mobile welding rig and be able to both work outside and in shop and complete jobs on site through any problems that may arise. Candidate must have a strong understanding of welding methodologies and terminology.

Successful applicants must work well in a fast paced, safety orientated environment. Must be able to work on task without constant supervision. Must be able to read shop drawings and fabricate products to specifications. Full-time and part-time "Journeyman" positions available. Journeyman tickets not required, experience will determine your qualifications.

AutoCAD experience a serious asset. A candidate with knowledge of drawing and nesting programs will have work in the office and in the shop. Full-time or part-time Drawer/Welder position needed. Ability to read engineered drawings and help estimate future jobs an asset.
