AGRIS Co-operative Ltd. has an opportunity for an agronomy logistics coordinator to join our AGRIS Team at our Cottam Branch supporting the Essex Hub. The successful candidate will work in a team environment as part of the leadership, agronomy, seed, grain and the sales team to assist in the delivering of agriculture innovation and services in our communities to enhance farm owner profitability farming, exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

As the agronomy logistics coordinator, you will work closely under the direction of the Area Manager, supporting the leadership of the day-to-day operations and administration of the assigned location. This includes working closely with a high performing team of full time and seasonal staff to carry out the operation and administration duties to deliver on the requirements of the location including scheduling of staff, equipment, inventory, customer experience delivery, sales, and services for AGRIS across the Essex Hub.

What will you be responsible for:

· Provide an exceptional customer experience at every interaction.

· Dispatch of dry and liquid custom application

o Including supporting the preseason needs to have Grower, Farm, Field, Boundary (GFFB) accurately in Agvance for use in Dispatch

o Grower approved plans

· Co-ordination of bulk and packaged seed.

o Including inventory reconciliation

· General support of the branch customer service and administration.

· Monitors inventory and shrink levels as applicable; advises supervisor of discrepancies, as they occur.

· Ensures that all associated documentation including shipping and receiving is accurate and completes according to schedule.

· Developing an understanding of overall branch operation, administrative functions, working with the branch staff to support day to day duties and services.

· Provide recommendations and solutions to meet our customers’ needs with a focus on the “Whole Farm Plan,” from precision planning, agronomic product, usage, and assessment application, ending with grain handling and marketing for both on and off Farm grain.

· Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements for this Job:

  • knowledge of agronomy, fertilizer, chemical, seed and grain marketing.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all applicable certifications, licenses, and permits within 2 years.
  • Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
