You will play an important role as Auto Parts Helper at BMW MINI Laval Collision Centre:

  • As the Auto Parts Helper, you are a high-energy, versatile team player that takes ownership of the administrative support process for parts inventory – making your role crucial to smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • You will build and leverage your customer service experience in providing quality care and service our valued customers receive as you coordinate the delivery of parts efficiently.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and maintain inventory.
  • Inspecting incoming parts for quantity, damage, quality, noting any damage, defect, or wrong part for part number and reporting to Management immediately.
  • Informing relevant parties about received parts arrival.
  • Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing parts orders.
  • Locating parts onto SOR or regular stocking shelves.
  • Assist with physical bin maintenance and parts department housekeeping.
  • Research the availability of certain parts, either within the shop or from other sources as necessary.
  • Lifting heavy parts safely.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status.
  • Work with counter staff to ensure seamless customer service for the customer.
  • Helping in shipping/receiving and picking/stocking auto parts.
  • Providing excellent customer service to all customers by delivering efficient and friendly service.
  • Maintaining order integrity by verifying parts being delivered are accurately captured on the invoice.
  • Other duties as required.


Your Capabilities and Credentials


  • Valid Driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Fundamental computer skills an asset.
  • Functional literacy and capability of recognizing part numbers and line codes to ensure the proper selection of parts.
  • Passion for automotive parts aftermarket industry.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must wear safety footwear at all times.
