General Labour - Woodworker Job at Shipway Stairs Ltd.
Job Summary Statement:
We are looking for dedicated and energetic Woodworker to join the Shipway Stairs Ltd. Team. Shipway Stairs Ltd. is one of the largest manufacturer and suppliers of stairs and railings for the homebuilding industry in the GTA and surrounding areas.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Some measuring materials, cutting, nailing
- Stacking, loading material on to carts and skids
- Some Use of hand and power tools (i.e., staple gun, hammer)
- Move material using pump truck and carts
- Helping machine operators
- General cleaning duties
- Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) on occasions
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as required.

- Follow instructions and work independently.
- Reading text
- Communication
- Attention to detail and working environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
