SkyCare is a growing and dynamic Air Ambulance and Air Charter Service based in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. With additional bases in Manitoba and Southern Ontario, we provide private, corporate, and medevac flight services across Canada and the United States. Our flight crews and ground personnel are dedicated to providing the highest level of safety, comfort, and care to our clients.

Job Summary

We are actively seeking an HR Specialist to join our team to administer and manage the recruitment, placement, and performance evaluation of employees. Their overall goal is to ensure the best employees are hired for all positions within the Company and are provided with appropriate guidance to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

The HR Specialist is responsible for creating and placing job postings and actively identifying and recruiting new talent through multiple recruiting channels including job fairs and social media. They work closely with management to understand hiring needs and establish industry relationships to attract the best talent for the SkyCare team. They lead the recruitment, interview, and offer process with the support of the appropriate manager. The HR Specialist also manages the framework for employee evaluations, reviews, promotions, and retention.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation considered an asset
  • 2-4 years working experience in a Human Resources department preferred.
  • Practical knowledge of HR applications such as talent acquisition, recruitment, employment interviews, employee engagement, and performance evaluations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary: $53,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
