We are hiring for a major event this summer:

The RBC Canadian Open is a golf tournament that takes place from June 5th-11th.

Area /Location: INVENTORY CONTROL

Reports to: Inventory Manager

As an assistant in the Inventory Department, you will be shipping and moving product to different areas/locations throughout the site of the Tournaments. This is a temporary position with a an early morning schedule.

You will use golf carts to move products, however, some lifting may be required. Below is a description and list of duties that you will be responsible for, but not limited to.

  • Working with the Inventory Control Manager, you will load-in any produce, dry goods, finished products or any other goods as they are delivered or need to be moved to other locations.
  • Ensure that all goods are stored in the correct locations as directed. First-in, First-out procedures are utilized and goods are stored in an organized manner.
  • You will be stocking each location on-site with necessary products according to predetermined par levels and specifications.
  • You are responsible for the dry storage units on site, ensuring that all products are on skids, and that unauthorized people do not enter without permission. You will also keep the areas neat and organized.
  • You will be required to fill requisition orders for products and deliver to different areas on the grounds.
  • You will utilize carts etc. to bring products to each area, but will be required to load and unload products by hand.
  • You may be asked to stock merchandisers or fridges as well.
  • Will assist in doing any last minute replenishments of products.
  • Will assist in doing accurate inventory counts of any fridges, storage areas or inventory in certain locations if needed.

Having a Forklift license is not required but highly recommended.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 weeks

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2023-06-01
