The Opportunity
The Marketing & Communications Manager contributes to the planning, development and maintenance of content supporting Fidelity Clearing Canada’s marketing and communications strategy. The manager will liaise with Fidelity departments and external vendors as required to fulfill the marketing, communication and events needs of FCC.
What You Will Do
  • Responsible for the execution of marketing campaign deliverables across all channels (collateral, advertising messaging, digital presence) to promote Fidelity’s products, services and value-add content.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Measure campaign impact, website traffic and other digital metrics to enhance performance and align Marketing and Sales
  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as Sales and Strategic Account Management to understand and support client segments
  • Leverage industry, customer and competitor insights alongside FCC metrics to inform strategies and tactics
  • Optimize marketing automation programs for maximum performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and technologies to ensure the company stays ahead of the curve
  • Develop and manage external communications and execute with a consistent and controlled approach across the organization
  • Liaise with Fidelity Canada Corporate Affairs for media relations, public relations, and crisis communications.
  • Evolve and manage corporate messaging and brand positioning, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
  • Manage and build the content library and maintain a regular cycle of updates for collateral (presentations, product sheets, brochures, thought leadership, other assets), news and information publicly available to clients and the public, including expiration, retirement and updates as needed.
  • Works with key stakeholders across the firm to help execute deliverables for client, prospect and industry events including: Event speakers, PowerPoint presentations, Invitations, Marketing kits/handouts, online registration, information pages, ads, etc.
  • Coordinate the details of the event including, securing event venues, meals, collateral, swag, parking, service, etc.
  • Manage event budget and ensures accuracy in developing estimates, working amounts and actual spends.
  • Document and determine realistic project timelines and execute approved initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced Product, Marketing and/or general Communications role.
  • Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience
The Expertise You Bring:
  • Working understanding of marketing strategy and positioning and marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on writing, editing and presentations
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, creative and organizational skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities: ability to multitask and manage multiple ongoing projects is essential.
  • A good understanding of investment knowledge is required, and related qualifications are advantageous though not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
