The recruitment team helps staff 16 sites across Metro Vancouver in diverse occupations like nursing, physiotherapy, health care assistants, clerical administration and senior level management.

What you will do
The Healthcare Recruiter will be responsible for managing their program-based portfolio to recruit both unionized and non-unionized roles.

  • Develops and implements recruitment strategies
  • Participates in all stages of external recruitment including sourcing, advertising, posting, shortlisting, telephone screening, interviews, reference checks and employment offers

What you need
Our team needs an experienced recruiter who is comfortable managing a major change initiative by providing expert recruitment and communications expertise to help onboard the new system our growing organization.

  • The recruiter has demonstrated experience working with large organizations
  • Experience using multiple strategies to find talent, including social media
  • Comprehensive knowledge of job market trends and sourcing candidates in a competitive market place.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of best practices as these relate to recruitment processes in the health care industry.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as the ability to work and think independently.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative in problem-solving and arrive at creative solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible attitude, open-minded and the ability to adapt easily to change.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline plus three (3) to five (5) years of related experience in a multi-level, multi-discipline organization working with union and non-union staff or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge of healthcare recruitment is an asset.

Salary: $34.67-$49.84 per hour
