TOMOKAZU is growing her team and is looking for energetic individuals with a good work ethic. We are currently looking for a Server who will be responsible for taking orders from and serving food to customers. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with bussers, cooks and other staff. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is greatly desired.

Unfortunately at this moment we could NOT provide visa/work permit sponsorship for foreign workers, therefore LOCAL CANDIDATE ONLY. Unless you are located in Metro Vancouver area and could made to the in person interview, we will not consider your application. However if you are in Vancouver right now but your working visa will be expiring soon, we will be able to sponsor the working visa if you could prove you are a good candidate.

Job Duties:

§ Greeting customers, helping them comfortably seated;

§ Introducing the season special, answering customers’ questions regarding to the menu;

§ Taking food and drink orders and delivering them in a friendly and timely manner;

§ Ensuring that tables are served properly, and payments are collected;

§ Daily maintenance and cleaning;

§ Helping kitchen food preparation staff when necessary;

§ Other duties as requested;

Job Requirements:

§ Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment;

§ Communication and teamplay are essential;

§ Able to perform and maintain high-quality work while unsupervised;

§ Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system;

§ Able to work in a multicultural environment;

§ Basic English language ability;
