Goopter is a Vancouver-based tech company specializing in offering multi-language SaaS-based eCommerce solutions for small businesses. Goopter provides a comprehensive eCommerce solution for consumers and businesses. We are looking for a passionate and collaborative person to help us build the next generation web application system. You will work with the developer team to create scalable backend systems and support our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical design, implementation, and testing of Rest API and implement business logics.
• Write unit tests, conduct performance testing, and document code to team standards.
• Work closely with the R&D team to make continuous improvements on features, architecture and security. Perform bug fixes.
• Receive and provide thoughtful code review with an established review process
• Continue to improve your technical skills and share your knowledge with the rest of the team

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in web application software development.
• Hands-on Back-end experience with PHP 7/8, Mysql, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, REST API and cloud computing.
• Front-end development experience with React, Redux, HTML, CSS, JS.
• Working knowledge of how to interact with large-scale databases.
• Experience with infrastructure on AWS is a must.
• Experience with Magento, Elastic-search is a must.
• Understand computer science fundamentals, algorithms, multi-level data structures, and design patterns.
• Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent background.
