Snow Removal Surrey and Langley Job at Nbm Group
We are looking for Crew Leaders and Helpers in Surrey and Langley area, to join our Snow Removal Team. We do have our own Trucks but if you are able to use your own Truck to assist in the Snow Removal, we will pay up to $50 extra per day.
You will be responsible for making sure pathways are cleared, along with supporting de-icing operations. This is an on-call position and chosen candidates will only be dispatched when required (depending on the weather conditions).
We have an incentive program with end of season bonus, if you work consecutive days, show up for your shifts etc.
Job Description:
· Able to lift 50lb bags of ice melt
· Clearing snow from sidewalks with shovel/snowblower
· Salting sidewalks by walking behind salt spreader
We are looking for people who:
· Show up for every shift, on time, and ready to work
· Are respectful and courteous
· Has a strong work ethic
· Are confident and careful when operating machinery
· Are willing to work in cold temperatures
· Having a driver’s license will be an asset
· Are willing and able to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends).
· Have appropriate cold weather protective clothing (i.e. waterproof boots, gloves, layers, waterproof jacket etc.)
· Are capable of working for AT LEAST a 4-hour shift but preferably 8 hours or more.
