Responsibilities:

• Work closely with customers and internal sales team on all aspects of forecasting, On Time Delivery, and order process
• Lead all aspects of scheduling manufacturing planning, and work closely with the manufacturing team
• Drive continuous improvement of world-class demand planning and S&OP processes. Improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics
• Work with leadership team to identify cost, and manufacturing efficiencies
• Oversight over inventory, and material management and apply best practices
• Oversight over logistics function, mitigate risks, and manage associated cost
• Works closely with the procurement team and support the material order process
• Participate in the development of statistical models to optimize safety stocks without negatively effecting customer service levels in collaboration with sales and operations
• Address market dynamics by implementing flexible scheduling models
• Assist in the resolution of key supply-demand/service-cost issues
• Implement forward looking forecast models (up to 18 months), and update monthly
• Assist with the coordination, facilitation, and documentation of regularly scheduled planning meetings
• Develop capacity simulation processes to run sensitivity analysis for growth

Technical Skills:

• Working knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow and improvement strategies (e.g., ELS, continuous flow, cellular etc.) and the ability to integrate those into the operation
• Demonstrated understanding of financial concepts and key drivers within manufacturing environment
• Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access), Tableau, and function specific software
• IBF or APICS certification
• Proficiency with SAP software - Preferred

Required or Desired Education:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics
• MBA or master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent
• 5-10 years of experience in Supply Chain (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning in an environment of both manufactured and sourced finished goods) and/or related supply chain management including design, implementation, and execution of S&OP related processes
