We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Shipper/Receiver/Order Picker to join our team in Coaldale, AB

Alberta AG Centre is a full-line CLAAS Dealership with locations in Crossfield, High River, Stettler, Lougheed, Dunmore and Coaldale, Alberta. We offer the entire North American lineup of CLAAS agriculture equipment along with other great product lines to meet the demands of the Alberta Agriculture Industry. Each of our stores features a full stock of parts, a knowledgeable sales team, and a competent team of factory-trained parts and service technicians. This role is based in Coaldale, AB.

Hours of work:

· Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM w/ a 1-hour unpaid lunch break

· Seasonal Overtime and on-call

Job Summary:

The Shipper/Receiver/order picker will be responsible for the physical in-bound receiving and preparation of outbound shipment of parts orders and products, including the transfer of goods between the parts, sales, and service departments

This position performs a variety of duties, including providing shipping price quotations, checking, providing delivery dates to customers, verifying prices, and maintaining supplier relationships.

Main Responsibilities / Tasks:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Upholding safety procedures/policies and perform using safe work practices
  • Packing and unpacking product
  • Verifying contents and quantities of incoming shipments.
  • Picking, preparing, and packing both internal and external parts orders
  • Loading and unloading shipments – manually, with a forklift, etc.
  • Labelling and shelving product, following specific direction and procedure
  • Performing housekeeping duties to keep warehouse and shipping areas clean, organized
  • Helping with inventory counts
  • Complete all applicable inventory, work orders, PO’s, receipts of goods entry and put stock away
  • Process a variety of reports in written and electronic form (e.g., requisitions, paperwork, reports, etc.) to distribute information and/or materials to appropriate parties
  • Assist the Sales, Parts, and Service Departments in scheduling by meeting regularly to communicate status of in/outbound orders
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager
  • Local travel required to pick up and deliver parts may be required

Job Requirements

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand/Walk for 8+ hours
  • Squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, and use of ladders and stairs
  • Lifting to 50lbs/23kg
  • Carrying up to 50lbs/23kg

Competencies and Qualifications:

· 2+ years’ experience in shipping and receiving, logistics and supply chain management

· Agriculture experience would be considered an asset

· detail oriented, organized, knowledgeable about shipping and receiving processes, able to perform physically rigorous work

· Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well with individuals inside and outside of the organization.

· Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion

· Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments

· Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments

· Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties

· Ability to read and interpret documents pertaining to shipping and receiving

· Detail oriented individual with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude

· Forklift Experience/WHMIS/First Aid/CPR Training considered an asset

· CDK Intelli -dealer experience considered an asset.

· Valid Driver’s license
